Happy Baptism Feelings

    I want to express
    feelings of :
    gratitude,
    belief,
    trust,
    faith,
    love,
    hope,
    truth,
    peace,
    respect,
    cooperating,
    and contentment,
    At my rebaptism I felt:
    gratitude, atonement's miracle,
belief that step by step I can learn
trust in myself to turn to my Savior,
love for and from His helping servants,
joy from the warmth of God's Spirit,.
hope for my future in His service,
    truth taught from the scriptures,
peace, the quite power of God,
    respect for great men present,
    cooperating together to bring
forth His eternal work and glory,
    contentment with my family support

During the rebaptism program I cried.
Tears are a happy personal family trait.
So many friends who served my God and
me during a gradual return, made sacrifices to
be here. Now I have the opportunity to learn the
process of God working through me. May I find
methods known by Christ. learning to listen until His
joy, slow, sure ways are revealed. I want to be able
to help. May I learn to, step by faltering step, turn
more and more to God. Only by remembering the
helpless addict that I am , seeking out answers
from a spirit that seems to always be near,
and submitting to His will can I find
quiet humble trust in His love.
Love can fill the whole
world, if all of us can
catch the vision of
how patiently He
waits for Each
of us to just learn
We His children can
learn obedience unto
God's will. We can turn
from our own will to find
happiness and peace of
mind in service and
the joy of charity

A
winding
upward road
between feelings and
learning submission has after
hurting become the joy represented above
