Henry
a Blessing

    1
    Baby Henry was fussing
    Grandpa wants helps refrain
    A little tummy hurting
    Relation to grandpa's pain.
    At the hospital.

    2
    As I remember
    Holding my grandson
    Looking at his proud
    Little head and reason
    I probe deeper meanings

    3
    Henry is part of
    Loving meditations
    Of family members
    Part of their devotion.
    Oh what love they've shown

    4
    When Tim is humbled
    And unable to go alone,
    That is when he discovers
    How dependant he groans.
    Helpless like henry

    5
    Then is when family
    came through to bestow.
    We had no hope to
    even go to Colorado
    After the accident.

6
But six of us did go,
In fact the long trip
Was harder on Tim
Than Mirriam's expected dip.
Nausea and hospital pain.

7
The kids went home alone.
Grandma & I were stranded.
Until money for plane tickets
Came, love smoothly sanded.
Family miracle wonders.

8
“It is patriotic,”
a son said, “to fly
since terror Sept 11th.”
No argument, sigh,
We are rescued again.

9
After we were home,
Hospital again.
But Tim must remember
Loves glove that sustains
With humble gratitude.
