A poem about the gifts of Christmas using the Hebrew chaismus style.
It is used in the both the Book of Mormon and the Bible.

Lines from the first to the middle relate to lines from the end to the middle
with the central theme being in the middle.
True Joy

    The joy of service
    was shown by Christ's
    wonderful gifts:
    unconditional love
    given to us,
    dark Calvary,
    Gethsemane,
    life eternal,
    the resurrection,
    the gift of the spirit,
    and the ultimate
    good example





    Giving
    brings
    true joy

an example
we can follow
guided by the spirit
our own resurrection,
learning to live,
to feel mental pain,
physical suffering,
with ways to give
real unfeigned love
as a pleasant gift
to another person;
Service is real joy.
