My Prayer 11th Step Prayer
Lord, make me a channel of thy peace that where there is hatred, I may bring love that where there is wrong, I may bring the that where there is discord, I may bring that where there is error, I may bring truth that where there is doubt, I may bring faith that where there is despair, I may bring hope that where there are shadows, I may bring that where there is sadness, I may bring joy. Lord, grant that I may seek rather to comfort than to be comforted to understand,than to be understood to love, than to be loved. For it is by self-forgetting that one finds. It is by forgiving that one is forgiven. It is by dying that one awakens to eternal life.

I am calm and tranquil. I can face my fears and work to overcome them. I take full charge of my life with Christ’s help today. I let serenity flow into my life. I feel appreciated today. I accept parents & affirm independence from them. can meet new opportunities without fear. I am independent. I am alert. I feel relaxed. I live in the present.. I feel great hope. I feel great potential for myself. I am a resourceful person. I can handle criticism with ease. I view my childhood without shame. I have a constant prayer in my heart. I am a child of God I am loved. My Father in Heaven & Jesus love me. I no longer feel the need to control others. I acknowledge my needs. I allow my Higher Power to enter my life today. I trust in the serenity Christ my Savior provides. I will love Mirriam unselfishly, Christ though is my salvation. I am not alone. I feel surrounded by love. I by God’s grace am in charge of my life. |

Alma34:31-35
32 For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors.
33 And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.
34 Ye cannot say, when ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to my God. Nay, ye cannot say this; for that same spirit which doth possess your bodies at the time that ye go out of this life, that same spirit will have power to possess your body in that eternal world.
35 For behold, if ye have procrastinated the day of your repentance even until death, behold, ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil, and he doth seal you his; therefore, the Spirit of the Lord hath withdrawn from you, and hath no place in you, and the devil hath all power over you; and this is the final state of the wicked.
Alma32:13-16
14 And now, as I said unto you, that because ye were compelled to be humble ye were blessed, do ye not suppose that they are more blessed who truly humble themselves because of the word?
15 Yea, he that truly humbleth himself, and repenteth of his sins, and endureth to the end, the same shall be blessed—yea, much more blessed than they who are compelled to be humble because of their exceeding poverty.
16 Therefore, blessed are they who humble themselves without being compelled to be humble; or rather, in other words, blessed is he that believeth in the word of God, and is baptized without stubbornness of heart, yea, without being brought to know the word, or even compelled to know, before they will believe.

2 Nephi 28 29-31
30 For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that recieveth I will give more; and from them that shall say, We have enough, from them shall be taken away even that which they have.
31 Cursed is he that putteth his trust in man, or maketh flesh his arm, or shall hearken unto the precepts of men, save their precepts shall be given by the power of the Holy Ghost.
16 But Aaron said unto him: If thou desirest this thing, if thou wilt bow down before God, yea, if thou wilt repent of all thy sins, and will bow down before God, and call on his name in faith, believing that ye shall receive, then shalt thou receive the hope which thou desirest.
