Hearts Turned Hard

1 Yes, it's sad. It seems those who have the most tender of feelings 4 We stuff hurt protecting ourselves with a granite cover 7 Feelings hurt are then gone just left out of a good heart 10 Another human hurt instead of a hurt overcome 13 We despair that it may be to late for restitution 16 Whatever neat talent Christ sees inside can contribute

2 Can end up with a heart that can become hardest of all 5 Addiction covers hearts that for mankind could bring great things 8 Extreme hurts Usually from childhood seem to demand 11 We can see this bold truth as we advance in recovery 14 We have hurt other hearts that may like us get rocks for hearts 17 When we can just submit to divine will we serve others 19 Then we find our own worth and can thus share our talents now

3 Creative people with talent can be hurt easily 6 One becomes an angry and unfeeling stone hard machine 9 that we hurt innocence in another soul to recycle rage 12 We wonder then how we can possibly repair the wrongs 15 Our one hope to change things is letting God use us to do 18 Serving others can soften our hearts enough to feel real love
